Hi Joseph - I didn't realize that there WAS a KDE edition of Foresight.
I'm no coder, but I'd be more than happy to help this see light of day for sure! Hit me up on Freenode (jayson_r) or via email and I'll do anything I can to help you out. BTW - is there a way to move to KDE and get rid of GNOME (I hate having them both installed).
conary migrate group-kde-dist will uninstall gnome and install kde 3.5.9.
w00t! Thank you Joseph! I'll do this when I get home to check it out.
I'll also add #foresight-kde to my irssi channels. Is there a "project page" or a "to-do" out on the wiki somewhere for the Foresight KDE project?
https://issues.foresightlinux.org/browse/KDE has a list of issues. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to go through and verify that they're still bugs. That's probably a good job for someone new.
I'm prolly going to have to sandbox this into a VM - the "migrate" to kde-distro hosed my laptop something awful - had to re-install. Not sure what went wrong.
I'll still help you out, but I'm gonna have to stay on GNOME for now |
